Support & Feedback

Report bugs, request features, follow what's new, and shape the Fokus roadmap.

Fokus is built in close conversation with its users β€” most of what ships starts as a bug report or a feature request from someone like you. Here's every way to reach us.

The support button (web)

On every page of the web app you'll find a round blue button floating in the bottom corner (bottom-right β€” or bottom-left if you use a right-to-left language like Arabic). Click it and three shortcuts unfold:

ActionWhat it does
Latest Updates πŸ“£What's new in Fokus, release by release. A red dot on the button means there's an update you haven't seen yet.
Report a Bug 🐞Opens a bug report form that can attach a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing. Reports go straight to the team with the technical context needed to fix them.
Request a Feature πŸ’‘Describe what you're missing and why β€” every request lands on the team's feedback board.

Screenshots help a lot

When reporting a bug, stay on the screen where it happened before clicking Report a Bug β€” the attached screenshot usually tells us more than a paragraph of description.

Shake to report (mobile)

On the mobile app, shake your phone wherever you are and the report form opens with a screenshot of the screen you were just on already attached. Choose whether something is broken or you have an idea, add a sentence, and send.

It takes a deliberate shake: a few brisk back-and-forth strokes, the way you'd shake a bottle. Walking, running, a bump in the road or putting the phone down on a table won't set it off. It also only listens while Fokus is on screen and unlocked β€” never in the background, and never on the App Lock or two-factor screens β€” and not while you're typing in a text field, where iOS keeps the same gesture for undo.

Everything the team needs to reproduce the problem β€” app version, device, OS, language and the screen you were on β€” is attached for you, so a single sentence is usually enough.

Anywhere in the appShake the phone, back and forth a few times.
SettingsOpen your account settings and tap Report a problem. This route never attaches a screenshot.

Check the screenshot before you send

The screenshot shows whatever was on screen, which may include private notes or email. It's shown in the form before sending β€” tap the βœ• next to it to send the report without it.

Shaking can be switched off under Settings β†’ Shake to report if you trigger it by accident; the settings entry above keeps working either way.

The feedback portal

feedback.getfokus.com is the community home for shaping Fokus:

  • Ideas & voting β€” browse feature requests by board, upvote the ones you want, join the discussion, or submit your own idea.
  • Roadmap β€” see what's planned, what's in progress, and what has shipped.
  • Changelog β€” the full release history (the same updates as Latest Updates in the app), with reactions.

Reading is open to everyone. To vote, comment, or post, sign in with your regular Fokus account β€” it's the same login as the app, no separate registration.

The profile menu (your avatar in the dock) also links to What's New and the Roadmap on the feedback portal, Help (this guide), and app downloads.
