Learn how to plan, capture, schedule, review, and improve work in Fokus.
Fokus brings your tasks, calendar, notes, goals, and an AI assistant together in one workspace — so planning your day stops being a job of its own. This guide walks you through every part of the app, from your first task to a fully auto-scheduled week.

The short version
If you only remember three things about Fokus, make them these:
- Capture fast. Press ⌘+K anywhere and type what's on your mind — Fokus turns it into a task, event, or note without breaking your flow.
- Let the AI place it. Auto-scheduling finds the right time slot for each task based on your priorities, energy, and free calendar space. You stay in control — anything can be moved, pinned, or excluded.
- Check in twice a day. The Morning Briefing tells you what's ahead; the End-of-Day Review shows what you finished and what rolls over. Both live in the Captain's Log.
