Fokus

Getting Started

Learn the main areas of Fokus and set up the essentials for day-to-day use.

Getting started in Fokus is less about learning every feature at once and more about understanding the core workspace: where your work lives, how tasks get scheduled, and where settings and integrations affect the experience.

Recommended approach

Set up the basics first: language, timezone, calendar connection, and your first few tasks. Once that foundation is in place, the rest of the app becomes much easier to understand.

Your First Setup

Review the main workspace

Start with the home screen and navigation so you know where Day View, Kanban, Calendar, Objectives, Notes, Analytics, and Settings live.

Configure personal preferences

Set your language, timezone, theme, and other general preferences so dates, times, and interface behavior match your workflow.

Connect your essential tools

Add your calendar and any task or communication integrations you rely on most so Fokus can work from real context.

Capture your first tasks and notes

Add a few real tasks, create a note, and put at least one item into your schedule.

Review your daily planning surfaces

Compare Day View, Kanban, and Calendar so you know which one to use for focus, backlog planning, and time blocking.
