Task Catalog

Every predefined crew task — briefings, digests, reviews, radars, and the connector-powered set — and what each one delivers.

Thirty-five ready-made tasks, one click each. Every task here lands in Settings → Crew Tasks with sensible defaults you can tune — trigger, cadence, instructions — and all of them support Run now. New here? Start with Crew Tasks for how tasks work.

Meetings

  • Meeting Briefing — before each meeting, gathers attendees (with their AI profiles), related tasks and notes, and your previous meetings together — written straight into the event description so you walk in prepared. Runs before events.

Email

  • Contact Dossier — label an email Fokus/Research and the crew assembles who the sender is, from your tools plus a web pass, into a note. Runs on label.
  • Newsletter Digest — a weekly roll-up of everything triaged as newsletter into one note, optionally emailed to you. Quiet weeks are skipped. Weekly.
  • Deal Spotter — watches conversations for real sales or business-development intent and keeps a living note per opportunity. Runs on triage.

Documents

  • Contract Review — label a contract Fokus/Contracts (PDF attachment or pasted text) and get a clause-by-clause review against your negotiation playbook: severity-flagged findings, exact quotes, suggested redlines. The playbook lives in the task's instructions — edit it to your standards. Runs on label.
  • Personal Contract Review — the same treatment for life's paperwork — employment, lease, utilities — against a personal playbook, via Fokus/Personal-Contracts. Runs on label.

Radars

  • Web & News Radar — a daily web sweep over topics you watch. Daily.
  • GitHub Radar — fresh releases across repositories you follow. Daily.
  • HN & Reddit Radar — high-signal stories from Hacker News and your subreddits. Daily.
  • RSS Radar — new items across your feeds. Daily.
  • Competitive Intel — a weekly briefing on your competitors and industry: top takeaways, per-company updates, trends, and emerging players. Weekly.

Life

  • Trip Companion — travel confirmations become a living trip note: itinerary, calendar events, reminders, and a running cost log. Runs on travel emails.
  • Job Post Monitor — job-alert emails become a daily digest of new postings, enriched with company context and matched against your profile. Daily.

Work with connectors

These tasks read from connected apps. Most work with any of the apps in their group — connect one or several and the task reads whatever is there; a few need one specific app. Connector logos on each card show what a task uses and lights up what you've connected.

Connector tasks only read. The results land as notes and notifications inside Fokus — your connected tools are never changed by a crew run.
